I am a few days away...

I'm starting to get more nervous and excited about the marathon with each passing day. Right now, the countdown is 4 days! I started getting concerned about some knee problems I'm having and some arch problems as well, and while it's too late to go see my orthopaedic specialist about some solutions, so I'll have to go w/ some part-time ones and hope for the best. I'll go to him after. The distance is still a very daunting number in my head...26.2...man oh man...MAN!

I had to stop by at the grocery store to pick up some salad stuff on my way to beeb's last Fri. I ended up being at Ralph's for like 45 minutes...why? Because there was this long ass line. But that's not what I wanted to write about... There was this lady in front of me with a big ass cart of ish, and she didn't offer to let me and my one single item go in front of her. Granted, there were like another 5-6 people behind me, but still... That's not what I wanted to write about either, he he he. So the big ass cart lady...the cashier finally finishes scanning up her stuff, total was like 170 something...she opens her purse and brings out a HUGE wad of.....COUPONS!!! I was like, wtf man!!! But wait I had to, so I did. DUDE, she freakin cut down her cost from that 170 something to 87 bucks!!! Freakin insane...it took forever and we were all a little irked...BUT, we were a little impressed too. So I'm gonna try to cut some coupons for my next grocery trip. I bought the sunday paper(cuz that's where I heard she got them from). Started cutting...we'll see how much I save...more to come about this later...

Damn, freakin SONY. They delayed the release date of the PS3. I wouldn't have been able to afford it anyway, so I guess it's kindof a blessing in disguise...
